To order a custom decorated cake you can call the bakery at (619) 328-0500 at least one full week in advance of when you'd like to pickup the cake. More notice is better, but we absolutly need one full week. When you call and let our team member know that you're interested in ordering a Custom Cake, they will help you fill out a "Custom Cake Inquiry". This inquiry contains all the information our bakers need to design your perfect cake. Then, one of our bakers will contact you within 1-2 days to discuss what options we have for you.

When requesting a custom cake, please keep in mind the following:
1) Custom refers to the decoration only. We do not offer custom cake or frosting flavors.
2) We only make 3 sizes of cake" 4" round, 8" round, and 1/2 sheet cakes. We do not make any shaped or cut cakes.
3) All of our cakes are decorated with hand piped "buttercream" frosting. We do not use any fondant, marzipan, gumpaste, real or fake flowers, or edible image printing.
4) We do not make tiered (stacked) cakes.
5) All of our frostings are dyed with all natural vegetable food dyes. These colors lend themselves to a pastel hue. We cannot achieve any very dark/bold colors, red, or true black.

Before filling out a custom cake inquiry form, please make sure to read the above list, detailing the type of custom decoration we offer. We're thrilled to work with you on designing an amazing cake for your event, but if you send us a picture of a 3 tiered, red fondant cake, with fresh roses, there isn't going to be much we can help you with.
